Jewelry Care

Polymer clay is a durable, and lightweight. Although durable, it can get scratched or broken by rough handling or dropping on hard surfaces. Be sure to store your earrings carefully away from sharp objects, out of direct sunlight and extreme heat.  Do not place under heavy objects.

Makeup and other debris can be removed by gently wiping with a damp cotton swab, soft cloth or baby wipe. No harsh chemicals! For longevity, put your jewelry on after your makeup, skincare, hair products, perfumes and lotions are dry.

Raw brass components may tarnish and darken over time when exposed to water, oils from the skin, and skincare products but can be easily cleaned with a soft jewelry cloth and/or tarnish remover. When cleaning metal components do you best to avoid the clay!

To extend the life of your jewelry, it is highly recommended that you remove your jewelry and store it properly prior to sleeping, bathing, swimming, and exercising.

Resin is also lightweight and somewhat durable, but will crack or shatter if dropped on hard surfaces or handled roughly. Please follow the same protocols as you would for your clay jewelry when caring/storing for your resin earrings. Always avoid leaving in direct sunlight/extreme heat and gently clean with a soft damp cloth or baby wipe to remove debris.
